Description: A very dense growing moss, weeping moss grows exactly as its name describes. At first, the fronds will grow with no particular pattern, but as they lengthen out they developed a 'tear-drop' like shape. In an established aquascape this can make for an incredible waterfall-like effect.
Difficulty: As with all aquarium plants, Co2 injection and appropriate fertilisation are recommended for optimal health and growth. Weeping moss grows well in most conditions but its growth rate will dramatically increase in optimal conditions
Emersed Growth: Weeping moss can be grown emersed. it will require some sort of medium to bind to such as lava rock, an aquarium substrate or peat moss.
If you are unsure of the difference between emersed and submersed growth you can visit our blog post here. This is a short article written by us that is easy to understand for beginners in planted aquariums.
