Description: Utricularia graminifolia or UG is a very unique carpeting plant from Asia which actually belongs to the bladderwort family. This means that this is carnivorous plants and will feed on live micro-organisms in your aquarium (shrimplets and fish fry are safe). It can be quite tricky for a beginner aquarists, with Co2 injection highly recommended. Once growing in its best form, it grows quite quickly and forms a luminous, light green carpet

Difficulty: As with all aquarium plants, Co2 injection and appropriate fertilisation are recommended for optimal health and growth. Utricularia graminifolia is certainly difficult to plant to keep. Medium to high lighting, along with co2 injection and a consistent fertilisation regime are recommended to achieve lush growth.
