Description: Queen moss is a super vibrant and appealing moss with erratic growth. In our experience, it is perfect for shrimp or fish breeding tanks due to the amount of cover it can provide and its relatively fast growth rate. It does very well in both low-tech and high-tech environments with similar growth styles. Due to the random growth patterns, it is not very well suited for aquascaping, but does look beautiful when contrasted with dark hardscape or substrate.
Difficulty: As with all aquarium plants, Co2 injection and appropriate fertilisation are recommended for optimal health and growth. Queen moss will grow in a low-tech aquarium quite easily. The addition of Co2 certainly results in more vibrant and robust growth.
