Description: Quite a difficult aquarium plants, Ludwigia Senegalensis requires a lot of light to grow well. This of course must be matched by adequate Co2 injection and a well-rounded fertiliser regime. Without adequate lighting, growth is leggier and less vibrant. In optimal conditions, the plant grows upright with compact growth. This plant is perfect in the midground or background of an aquascape and would do especially well in a dutch style aquarium.
Difficulty: As with all aquarium plants, Co2 injection and appropriate fertilisation are recommended for optimal health and growth. L. Senegalensis is very difficult to grow in a low tech environment. Co2 injection is a must and at least medium lighting is required.
