Instructions:

For the light to operate, it must first be paired with the provided controller:

  1. Insert the CR2025 battery (not included) into the remote. To ensure the battery has been correctly installed, check that the red light on the remote shines when a button is pressed.
  2. Plug the light in and turn the power on.
  3. Turn the power off
  4. While the light is off, press and hold the red power button on the remote.
  5. Continue holding the red power button on the remote and turn the power on.
  6. The light will turn on and flash 3 times. This indicates successful pairing.
  7. However, the remote will not function immediately. Please allow the automatic ramping up of the light without pressing any buttons on the remote.
  8. If the light does not automatically begin ramping up, please press the red power button on the remote. This will commence the ramping up process.
  9. Wait 5 minutes without pressing any buttons on the remote.
  10. The remote will now be functioning. Colours and brightness will be fully adjustable.

Note: Once your preferred colours and brightness have been found we recommend plugging the light into a timer. This will keep the photoperiod consistent and prevent algae growth in the aquarium.

Battery level in the remote may reduce even while the remote is not in use. It is best to remove the battery from the remote while it is not in use.
