Description: Bucephalandra moss was discovered in Borneo, growing among the bucephalandra plant. Its appearance is faintly resembles Mini Pelia but with a lighter colour and much smaller, more delicate foliage. Bucephalandra moss will quickly attach to hardscape and grows in a very compact manner. We have found bucephalandra moss to be quite slow growing - similar to Fissidens Fontanus when in high tech conditions.

Difficulty: As with all aquarium plants, Co2 injection and appropriate fertilisation are recommended for optimal health and growth. Buce moss will grow in a low-tech aquarium but at a slow rate and with leggy g.rowth. The addition of Co2 goes a long ways in boosting growth rate and structure

Quick Guide:

  • Temperature: 10 - 28°C
  • pH 6.0 - 7.8
  • Growth Rate: Slow
  • Lighting Requirements: Medium
  • Co2 Injection: Not vital
  • Origin: Unknown

Sold as: 50 cent piece size. may or may not be attached to bio-noodle
