Description: The variegation seen throughout Anubias Pinto is a result of artificial selection by humans. As with many indoor plants, this variegation is highly desirable for hobbyists as it is quite rare. The white colour is due to a lack of chlorophyll in the plant, which does make it slightly more difficult to keep compared to standard anubias. It will grow slower and higher lighting is recommended to maintain white colouration. This can prove challenging for some aquarists, as it can be difficult to prevent algae on a slow growing plant when light is strong.
Note:
- Grown submerged
- Variegation levels will differ between plants
